Question: Installing a dishwasher in a space by sink that now has a 60 cm wide cabinet. Would I need an integrated or freestanding? Full size possible? I have the plumbing connection under the sink but will need the cabinet removed/altered. Also would probably need electrical supply connection (no sockets above worktops and probably not one behind cabinet). Are there tradespeople who are qualified in carpentry, plumbing and electrical that carry out the work or would I need more? Many thanks.

You can have a free standing dishwasher or an intergrated.... The only thing with intergrated would be if theres pipe work running along the back then the dishwasher wont sit back far enough.... If theres nothing in its way above 150mm off the floor you cam have intergrsted no problem. An electrician would be needed to run a new feed in for the dishwasher from another socket ( off the existing kitchen ring main).... Then your dishwasher will simply just plumb in under the sink having made the correct adjustments
