Question: I need my house renovated from attic insulation and boarding out and attic stairs. New doors and windows. New kitchen from design to finish. Complete new flooring throughout and re decoration. A small patio project and other smaller jobs throughout .... Is it best to get one overall company for the job or to pick individual skilled tradespeople for each job ?? Thanks Phil

Obviously a builder will be more expensive as you will generally have VAT to pay ,but they will probably get the job done quicker.
individual trades will no doubt be cheaper but more to organise for the homeowner. I would probably get quotes from both and then make the decision.

Maybe stop getting so.involved down to the customer to check that out and get quotes not checkatrade we the members pay subscriptions i cannot see anyone ringing cat to ask those questions are you charging them to answer the questions then fir our expertise and advice
