Question: I want to board out my loft, it has insulation on the floor but no boards, can boards be screwed/nailed to the rafters or are legs needed

its great that they do because they are hungry for help & knowledge
the ones that dont ask often end up in A & E
1. I would say that small screws would be better than nails - your less likely to damage the ceiling underneath.
2. The use of legs allow a large depth of loft insulation to be used whilst still providing loft storage & a safe floor area to stand on whilst in loft
