The best way I found to increase your business through checkatrade was to get plenty of reviews. I always give out a card with my checkatrade details to the customer when the work is complete and ask them to complete it, I also sent out a reminder with a link when I send them a receipt for payment.

Get plenty of reviews,post loads of pictures of work you have done, with before and after pics and make sure you write a good profile about yourself, how long you have been trading, and generally stuff about your business. Maybe look at some local competition to see what they have done.

Welcome! I'd recommend ensuring your profile is fully populated (profile, accreditations/licences, photos etc.) and also paying very careful attention to the keywords you use for the services you offer.
