You are paying for someone's experience, workmanship, and skill, all of which take years and 1000's to gain
If you are questioning price at this point, there is obviously a trust issue, walk away and find someone else

always price no day rate and depends what he does and output your paying for skills ,tools, van ,checkatrade advert ,advertising, the fact that no self employed has paid holidays,experience ,and expertise not how long he's at your house
