Question: How can I ensure a bathroom fitter has done a good job before using the bathtub?

I’d check the bath is secure by giving it a tug, it should be rock solid. Check all the sealant is neat, step in bath and see that there are no gaps showing where the sealant meets the bath.
press on each corner of bath, should not have movement.
are the taps secure and sitting flush to bath.
all good? Then ready to use.
In addition if the bath panel could be removed then run the taps and check underneath where the plug hole is and that there are no drips.
