I am in the process of buying a detached bungalow. The kitchen is at the front and I wondered how difficult it would be to have plumbing put in at the back of the house, in a garden room, to use as a utility, assuming there is no plumbing there already?
Hi.
this should be relatively easy to change as on Bunglows there is always enough roof space. However this could change if the roof space is currently occupied or converted.
I am in Skipton Terry so not in your area I think, but thank you.
Thanks Nyanya, the roof space is boarded but empty, I didn't realise the plumbing would have anything to do with the roof. I know nothing about plumbing obviously 😀. Thanks for the advice.
Thanks, I didn't think think of the type of water 🙂. It would be to use with a washing machine. I guess as it will be a garden room it might be best to get potable water supply then I can use it to water the garden.
I am just trying to get a rough budget together at the moment to see what might be possible and probably narrow down my wish list. Do you have any idea how much it would cost (max.) to run pipes through the roof space to the other side of a house (empty void in a bungalow). The house is only 80m2 ish. Also could these be run from a bathroom, which is nearer than the kitchen?
