Is it acceptable to leave bare plasterboard behind a sink cupboard unit which is not fully enclosed and also a toilet housing unit with no full back on in a small wetroom or should it be fully tiled before the units are fitted? There is a screen at the shower area. Thank you in advance for any advice.
Addition: the bathroom refit has been undertaken by a company and sold as fully tiled but they have refused to tile before fitting the units and the bare plasterboard is on an outside wall, their solution is to put a piece of tile on the area we can see when you open the cupboard.

Reason: missed information
Just as easy to tile it, and then fit units, while it's not directly in the wet zone as you have a screen up, for the extra few mtrs of tiles why not do it, and then there is no problem with moisture on bare plaster at a later date
thank you Stewart Howard, I should have mentioned the bathroom refit has been undertaken by a company and sold as fully tiled but they have refused to tile before fitting unit and it is on an outside wall
@Tidyked not very professional, probably don't want to drill tiles when fixing unit, not a big deal when you have proper drill bits,, can't see any other reason for not tiling first
