Having had a few leaks over the last couple of years I can't seem to get to the bottom of it. I had new flashing done twice in the last year but still the same problem. The roof is new (4yrs ago) and we know now that it is not roof and the chimney. We have a velux window in the loft and can see there are no broken tiles. The previous owners took out the chimney breasts front and back but am getting the leak around the chimney breast area coming through the bedroom ceiling. The chimney is also shared/joined with next door, and seemingly the previous owners wanted to take the chimney out completely but the neighbour had said no. Can any one advise me what can I do and which trade would i need to fix this once and for all, also will it be expensive to fix.
Will be grateful for any help and advice..seriously stressed out with it.
Thanks in advance.
