I like using Dulux,farrow & ball, little greene,
most popular colours are generally dark blues,greens,grey, but I do a lot of wallpaper and mural feature walls.

Its been a while since I last decorated, and it was only yesterday that my arm was twisted into agreeing that the living room could do with a splash of colour. We knocked through 3 years ago, and the archway between living and dining was painted a dark grey, which I have grown to love. Originally we wanted a mustardy colour, but it looked truly awful. Covering up the mustard took many coats, and the grey did the job well.
I prefer dark, rich colours for feature walls, but they seem to highlight damage from hurled toys and flung remotes. Maybe I need to be more careful when playing, and calm down when watching telly?
@Ajw I love a feature wall, I think they can look so classy!
I like panelling on a dark wall, in some houses a black feature wall can look lovely if done correctly. I agree with @Lauren too in the sense of essences of gold and creams, also can't go wrong with plain white walls and dark furniture that stands out.
@Nickvoc I would definitely say to stop flinging the remote 😁

Yes I sigh in disbelief gardenia has reared its head on the job I am doing
