I've recently visited a job to quote on a wall which has recently had a feature gas fire installed. The installer had finished the wall with a fire proof plaster bonny job considering he installs stoves.. any how when I put my hand to the wall about 500mm above the heat on the wall was unreal it nearly took the skin off my hand. What is causing the heat to harbour within the walls instead of projecting Into the room ? I have been asked to quote for a re board and skim but I'd like a bit of advice before hand thanks in advance..
