I've started the process of priming the kitchen cupboards - thanks to the help on this post here >>

What is the best way to clean the brush and remove the primer?

@Lauren it will say on the tin usually but it depends if it’s oil based or solvent based and obviously if it’s water based then stick it under the tap 😄👍

Hi @Lauren I usually use water based varnishes and primer/undercoats. As Sean said brushes are easily cleaned by running them under the tap, but if you are going to use them soon after don’t rinse them, simply put them in plastic bags (expelling the air) and they will be ready straight away the next time you use them, the same goes for rollers.

please tell me you didn’t use oil base ?. I pesume you did use waterbase and yes under the tap warm water and a touch of washing up liquid 👍

Also with water based make sure you thoroughly wash them out until only clean water comes out of the brush . I do find a quality synthetic brush does take a lot of cleaning.
