I am about to buy an electriQ Wall mounted air conditioner which I need to be fitted to the outside wall of a bedroom. It is an all-in-one so the fitter doesn't have to be FIT registered (I'm told). Fitting involves drilling 2 x 180mm holes for external vents and a small drainage hole. The unit weighs 38kg, so also someone who knows how to securely fit such a weight to a modern plasterboard faced wall. The unit will plug into a nearby 13amp socket, so no electrical work should be required.
What trade do I need?
