Hello

I'm a leaseholder living in central London.

I need to secure for my management agent some documentation and quotes establishing that there is a leak, work that needs to be done in my flat and the flat above (where the bathroom is that's leaking in to my flat).

I need something that establishes / clarifies that there is a leak and the proposed work that needs doing along with a quotation.

What is it I'm asking for? Is it a type of report? What type of accreditation am I looking for with the builder? What type of builder am I looking for (need plumber, painter, decorator etc).

I'll need to get 2 quotes which can be supplied - and I don't mind paying for the time/report/quote. I just don't know what I'm asking for or saying.

Firstly do you have any building and contents insurance,if so check your cover and maybe call them as you might have legal cover which would probably do a lot of the work for you or advise, but worth a phone call to check.
