Hi, I am sole trader and I install security systems, my work load is a little low at the moment, I’d really like to improve that and I’d really like some advice if anyone on here has any knowledge they can share regarding marketing that doesn’t cost the earth but will gain a few leads. Thank you in advance.
Hey @Alec9455there are some great tips in the article Lauren has shared above 👆
In addition, I recommend joining local groups on Facebook, Next Door App and posting into them (but not salesy content, more advice related or current events that are relevant). Also, scanning them daily (takes about 5 mins) for any topics people have posted about or asked for help/advice on and providing them with assistance.
Don't sell hard in those groups - but become 'known' for being helpful. This will support your reputation and start bringing in more work via recommendation etc.
Also - if you have a small budget then separately (as well as above) FB Ads work really well for a small budget if you know how to set them up - not just 'boosting a post' but a decent advert. Budget around £1.50-£2.50 per day and let it run.....
(BTW I am a qualified marketer as well as a drone pilot and run a marketing company for small businesses so always happy to advise/help where I can).
