I am in the process of buying a house that has asbestos containing materials in the ceilings. Most of these are in good condition but there is one small section of plasterboard that is damaged and peeling (see attached photos).

We have had an asbestos survey done on the house with all samples coming back as very low risk, including this one. However, we just don't know how best to safely patch this small area of ceiling. It is a plasterboard ceiling that appears to have a cavity above it, so we don't know how best to fix this hole. Any advice from those with asbestos experience appreciated.

In my opinion Id say get the asbestos removed completely by the specialist and taken away in the correct manner as its not practical these days and not safe within a family home
