    Hey everyone,

We have plenty of Plumbing and Bathroom Installation Checkatrade members here in the Community, so I'm keen to get the experts advice in the comments below 👇

Which brands offer the best value bathroom products?
In a room that sees as much usage and wear and tear, it's important to use products that are good quality, and it's also a case of you get what you pay for too.
Below are some good brands at mid-range prices:
    • Ideal Standard
    • Mira
    • Grohe
    • Roca

Bathrooms are a brilliant place you upgrade your home to increase value and maximise on profit, so make sure to choose products that are easy to work with.

    What to avoid?
Asking your fitter for the cheapest product. Get a range of prices and quality first. Some distributors or wholesalers provide bathroom value packs but choose these with a word of caution. Ask yourself, and the sales staff, why these items are being sold at such a low price?
As the old saying goes, 'if it looks too good to be true, it probably is.'

When it comes to bathroom design and installation, there are many reasons to hire a professional to do the job, including

A lot of the time it is a case of buy cheap, buy twice. But there are still some great products for a smaller budget - like most things, a lot of materials are as good as the installer. Cheap products, installed correctly can last a while, whereas expensice products, fitted poorly wont last the length of time they should!
