Hi Checkatrade Roofers,

I regularly need to refer roofing work (pitched, flat, mixed, repairs, new) but I do not have a reliable roofing company or companies to pass the work on to.

Anyone interested?

What I am looking for:

• Companies in London, West Essex or Hertfordshire
• To take roofing referrals I will send from the areas above
• Easy to contact, reliable at contacting customers & keeping me updated

How do I get the work for referrals to you?​​​​​​​

I regular inspect roofs for insurance companies, individuals, pre-purchasing of homes or commercial buildings etc.

This I do via drone, as a fully qualified drone operator and provide a fully annotated report to the customer - this report would be sent to yourself, when the customer is looking for a roofing company to carry out the works identified.

What Do You Get Out of This?

• Referrals - I inspect around 50-100 roofs per annum so plenty of potential
• Easy to quote for jobs as I provide a fully annotated report that I will share with you each time.

What Do I Get Out of This?

• Referrals from you - when an inspection report is needed
• I request 10% to be added on your invoice as a 'finders fee' for the referral
• A much more complete service to offer customers

@RJHeating you're right you aren't a roofer, but you ARE a legend mate! Trust me if this comes up in conversation(s) I will hook you in - can't remember, what area(s) do you cover geographically?

I have a 'balloon' problem in my boiler, apparently, sounds painful but hopefully not expensive as a patch up job 🤷‍♂️

Sounds like you have an expansion vessel fault - 9/10 times they can be pumped io
with air again and that will solve it!

Roofing jobs just going to waste!

This particular one I did an inspection of about 3 weeks ago - my local roofer hasn't bothered contacting the customer (even though I passed details, a copy of my report etc.) Nothing. So she has asked me if I know any other roofers that I can recommend.

Honestly, I don't know anyone else ( Lauren is trying to help match me up with some cracking roofers). So I searched Checkatrade as a customer would and have plucked 3x companies from the listing, rankings and reviews and recommended them to the customer they are:
