Hi just thought I would start this discussion to try and network with trades in the area to try and help each other out with work.
We all know that we have the proper insurance and can get info on each other to see if they could’ve a fit for your company if we can all work together and use each other we could possibly make this community worthwhile are a scaffolding company based in Colchester

Yep this is a good idea. No one seems to want to help anyone out these days. Hopefully it takes off! We are Boilermedic and we cover Essex and east London boiler repairs servicing and land lord CP12 certificates.

You should try and get a quick reference list together people can go to from this group so everyone is listed instead of having to read through everything. Cheers

thanks for that I thought it was a good idea but as of yet I have no takers on it I know people have work relationships with different companies but if you never get a quote from anyone else you never know if there is a better company out there. Feel like if I was in Norfolk I could sort work out with you but Essex is stuck in its ways well that’s how it looks or no one uses the community

Its always good to have a network of trusted other trades, this is very important to me.
when I lived in Essex, I had a scaffold company I would always use. I’d phone them up, pace the length of building - count the bricks to the soffit and an instant price would be given, backed up with paperwork.
for me it was always about - planing my work.
never about making money from other trades.
good work & great customer service in effect, brings in even more work.
yes definitely I would have given you the chance to price scaffolding when required on my job sites.
I rarely do exterior work, only bits for existing clients. I don’t take on any new clients for exteriors.
I love doing them, but found the English weather was never on my side
