What is a search description, and why are they important?
The search description is the text that appears under your company name in the search results, so it's really important that you complete this. It's the first thing a customer will see when they search for a trade in a specific area. That’s why we say it’s the first impression of your company:
Your search description should be clear about the services you provide and stand out against the competition.

- Where you cover
- Your trade expertise
- Why you’re unique. Do you offer a free quote or competitive pricing? Will you beat local quotes? Do you have a specialist qualification?
